We empower youngsters to find the time in this crazy society to find themselves, that is why we use smartphone accessories, as phones is the thing we most use, we want to turn it into a reminder of who YOU really are.
We, with BeMonkeys, we have found a process to follow that allowed us to finally be ourselves and start to find our place in Earth, such a simple but complex topic. This is why we have categorized our brand into at the moment 4 different lifestyles(1 new coming up soon!).
This 4 lifestyles are the stages we have seen looking back, that allowed us to make BeMonkeys a reality, and to make our path in life:
One year ago, we started being FEARLESS. We started questioning everything and everyone, and we wanted to create something of our own that would represent us. For this we decided to create a smartphone accessories brand, called as you may already know, BeMonkeys.
Everyone was telling us that we wouldn’t succeed, that there is a lot of competition in this market, and we were just kids who didn’t know nothing.
But we didn’t care, we were FEARLESS to start.
This was June 2017. This is when everything started.
We started with something simple, one product we saw that started to be a trend, so we bought in quantities and just resell it. But during the creation process we faced many challenges, and we realized we needed to take more risks, to become more ourselves and start looking for new things if we wanted the brand to evolve and survive.
Here is when we went on an ADVENTURE which opened our minds and brand for new products and collaborations. Julen Rodríguez and Zhang Li Zhong, went ona really ADVENTUROUS trip to Canton’s fair, in the look for new things. Two 20y/o kids, in the world biggest product fair, trying to start something new. It was crazy… But we did it, we came back, and we started our evolution process.
When we came back it was all about the people, the customers. We started collecting feedback in all the products ideas we got from our travel, and we wanted to know what people needed or wished. From a deep understanding is where we got the inspiration to make our decisions in our (brand) life. So after being out “finding ourselves”, we came back and cared with this new selves, to shape it in the form that would most benefit those around us.
After creating everything with others, we realized it was then up to us, we were FREE to decide who we finally were, what were not only the products, but the essence and spirit we wanted to transmit. Who are we and who we will be, it’s a continuous process of change, evolution and self awareness. And this is how we decide what is our place in life, or in a brand case, in the market.
This process, is not only about the brand. If you interpret it in a deeper way, you realize is a process of maturity. This is what everything is about, this is what life is about. BeMonkeys has it’s own life, YOU have your own life, I have my own life.
Everyone deserves to find their place in the world, and we will only find it, if we have the courage to start our own path. You are the one responsible to create everything that happens in your life.
